Men charged after Qld bar fight turns ugly
Four men have been charged after a bar fight in north Queensland became a violent half-hour assault, with the victim punched, kicked and robbed.

Four men are facing charges after a bar brawl in a remote Queensland pub turned into a violent, half-hour bashing of a 32-year-old man.
The late-night fight broke out between a group of men at a pub in Richmond, in the state’s northwest, before becoming a sustained half-hour attack on the man.
Police say the Richmond local was punched to the ground before being dragged outside by the group where he was assaulted again and kicked into the gutter.
The men then continued to punch and kick the man when he tried to sit up before photographing and robbing him, police said on Wednesday.
Police say they left the victim lying in the street where he was found by a passing ambulance 90 minutes later and taken to Richmond Hospital.
He suffered bleeding on the brain and broken ribs, along with extensive bruising and lacerations.
Four men have now been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm in company and affray and will appear in the Richmond Magistrates Court on November 14.
