NT child, teenagers ‘stole police guns’
Two youths and a child have allegedly stolen firearms after breaking into a remote Northern Territory police station and an officer’s home.

Two youths and a child have allegedly broken into a remote Northern Territory police station in central Australia and stolen firearms.
The 11, 14 and 16-years-old boys are also accused of unlawfully entering a police officer’s home in the community of Kintore, about 530km west of Alice Springs.
Once in the officer’s home on Sunday night, police allege the trio stole the keys to the police station, which enabled the group to access the weapons, NT police said on Tuesday.
Aboriginal liaison officers helped police work with the community to recover he firearms and identify the alleged offenders, who were arrested and taken into custody on Monday.
Kintore, which is also known as Walungurru, is a remote settlement in the Gibson Desert, 40km from the border with Western Australia.
It has population of about 450 Pintubi people.
Investigations continue.
