Queensland police have called in the Australian Defence Force to help find a Federal Circuit Court judge who disappeared in Brisbane’s Mount Coot-tha forest.
Judge Guy Andrew, 55, disappeared after he left his north Brisbane home early on Sunday to exercise.
“Mr Andrew was a very keen walker and would walk in the early hours of the morning,” Superintendent Christopher Stream told reporters on Thursday.
The judge’s Toyota Hilux was found about 2pm the same day on Dillon Road, The Gap, but he hasn’t been seen.
Dozens of police officers, emergency services personnel and volunteers have scoured the dense, hilly bush around the Enoggera Reservoir during the past three days.
They were joined by members of the defence force on Thursday as the search area was expanded, police said.
The search area today encompassed private properties and forestry to the west of Dillion Road,” Superintendent Stream said.
Divers have also searched for Mr Andrew in the dam, while a police helicopter and drones searched from above.
Mr Andrew is 176cm tall with grey hair and brown eyes.
