The search continues for two hikers who spent the night in bushland near a central Queensland gorge.
A helicopter crew began searching around Carnarvon Gorge, south of Emerald, on Thursday morning after a group of 16 hikers failed to return.
They found 10 of the hikers walking in poor weather, and four more were later found on Thursday night.
The two remaining hikers spent the night in the bush after bad weather hampered rescue efforts.
The RACQ Capricorn Rescue service says one of missing hikers may have an ankle injury.
In a separate incident not far from where the hikers went missing, rangers have found a man at an isolated campsite after he activated an emergency beacon about 7am on Friday
The man set off the EPIRB when he became concerned about water levels in a local creek but was assured by rangers he was safe, a Department of Environment spokesman told AAP.
