Heatwave conditions persist in Queensland
Unseasonal heatwave conditions will continue in Queensland, with Tuesday forecast to be the hottest day of the period, the Bureau of Meteorology says.

Queenslanders can expect to suffer another day of unseasonably hot weather as heatwave conditions persist across much of the state.
Tuesday is forecast to be the hottest day yet as a hot air mass continues to sit above southern Queensland, pushing maximum temperatures well above the average for November, the Bureau of Meteorology says.
“A lot of places throughout Queensland will be (over) 40 again tomorrow … everywhere is 30 or over,” meteorologist David Crock told AAP.
In the state’s southeast, Ipswich is expected to be the hottest centre with 40C forecast, which is just over 10C hotter than the average November maximum.
Inland areas in the state’s southwest can expect to be scorched again, with Quilpie and Windorah both expected to reach 43C.
There is also the chance of showers and possible thunderstorms through the region.
Further east, Charleville and Dirranbandi are also expected to hit 43C with Roma and St George predicted to peak above 40C.
The extreme temperatures will also stretch northwest, where Mount Isa and Cloncurry are both forecast to peak at 42C.
Southern coastal areas can expect cooler temperatures with a northeasterly sea breeze expected to arrive by noon, however, conditions will remain sticky.
Brisbane is forecast to reach 33C and Caboolture is set for a maximum of 35C.
There is also a slight chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm close to the NSW border in the southeast, the bureau said.
