A third man has been charged in connection with a Father’s Day shooting murder north of Brisbane.

The 25-year-old Deception Bay man appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday, where he was released on bail.

He was charged with accessory after the fact to murder on Friday, after police arrested him at the Kallangur motel.

Clinton Pollock, 35, was shot in the chest after getting into an argument with a group of men in the front yard of his Deception Bay home about 11.30pm on September 2.

He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Police allege the man drove a vehicle from the Thompson Street house after Mr Pollock was shot.

Zachary John Hall, 28, appeared in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on Thursday after being charged with Mr Pollock’s murder.

The Scarborough man did not apply for bail and will face court again for a committal on November 6.

On Tuesday, 26-year-old Justin Meale, also from the Moreton Bay region, was remanded in custody after also being charged with Mr Pollock’s murder.

Meale is due to reappear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on November 6.
