A Queensland man accused of murdering a mother of two whose body was found with head injuries has been remanded in custody.
Nilisi Kaniki, 24, was not required to appear when his matter was mentioned in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Thursday.
He was charged with murder late on Wednesday after paramedics found a 24-year-old woman’s body early that day at a home on Waratah Drive in the Logan suburb of Crestmead.
Court documents identify her as Selma Adem Ibrahim, understood to be the mother of a girl aged six and a boy, two.
Kaniki, from Acacia Ridge, was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on November 13.
